I arrived in Florida on December 3, along with my cats, Emmett and Eloise. While our flight was uneventful, the last ten days have been filled with tremendous challenges. My cell phone service did not work and I was unable to get internet service until this evening. I am busy catching up with more than 300 emails so forgive me my slowness in staying in touch. I also have way more boxes to unpack than anyone should face, especially with no room to put things. However, I do have a beautiful view of the lake from both my bedroom and our screened porch. I am hoping by New Years I will start to feel settled. However, some mornings I wake up and wonder "WHAT HAVE I DONE!" Time will take care of most of my discomfort. Next on my list is finding a good oncologist and hair dresser, not necessarily in that order. How I miss Drew and the fabulous job he did with my hair. Wish I could fly back for an appointment. I miss all of you.
