My friend Edy has been visiting from Washington, DC and we had a great time. She helped me with medical appointments and we managed to squeeze in at least one fun thing each day. We even went to see Portuguese Water Dog puppies. I miss her already. My exciting news is I had cataract surgery last Tuesday and can now see out of one eye. The other eye will be operated on next Tuesday. I can hardly wait. There are so many things I want to do when I have my vision back. Once I have recovered, I will restart my chemo treatments on September 25. I will also learn the results of my latest CT scan. Please send your good thoughts that my tumor has continued to shrink and has not spread. I am suppose to have eight to twelve treatments and will have number seven on the 25th. Miss you.

Hope both eye surgeries have gone well. Shrink, tumor, shrink!
